Things to consider before going to Lagos

Lagos is the greatest and most developed state of Africa, being the capital of the most populous country of Africa; Lagos has a great importance in African region. Despite of not being a safe and popular state for tourists, Lagos has some real uncovered adventure and fun. The land of Nigeria is blessed with some great natural resources and beauty
Though the security is always a concern in most of the African region but if you are a travel geek and want to know the hidden chronicles of this African region than you better start looking for the cheap flights to Lagos now.
But before you get onto the streets of Lagos, here is a security checklist you need to consider before booking your ticket to Lagos.
Walking Around Town:
Though it’s quite secure to move in crowded areas and streets during day time because chances of getting robbed are quite low during day time and crowded places, but beware of the pickpockets around you and it would be better to leave your bags or camera at home, otherwise you will be the easy target for the pickpockets in such crowded area and it would impossible to identify where your stuff went and you can be in all sort of trouble by losing any important documents or item.
Avoid Travelling At Night:
Though you may feel safe to travel during day time but night at Lagos has a very different story. You will find the boys on bikes hanging around under flyovers, bridges, streets etc ready to mingle with you. You may feel insecure as would be not that much crowd and lights to make you feel comfortable.  You can easily lose everything you have with you and there would be no way to get them back. It’s better to have food at your home as you won’t find too many food stalls opened at night. So make sure to have sufficient food, windows and doors locked. The safest option is to stay at home and avoid travelling during night time.
Taking Pictures:
Though it’s quite obvious that being a tourist you would definitely want to take back the memories of your trip to home but photography is not that easy in this part of world. Other than the chances of losing your costly camera, you might get into some legal trouble for taking snaps of official buildings. The local people may not like you taking their pictures and that create serious problems for you. Beware to not show your camera in downtown area i.e. Tinubu Square area, else the chances of losing your camera are as high as the skies due to the local boys out there, they can even harm you physically so it’s better to avoid taking pictures in such areas.
